Lane Kiefling

Lane Kiefling’s original music and style can be characterized as rooted in the broad sweep of American traditions – jazz, swing, gypsy jazz, and the storytelling spirit of the singer-songwriter.

Lane was born in Decatur, Illinois, and raised on a working farm. His earliest memory is sitting next to his mother at the piano bench absorbing everything. He grew and played trumpet and piano and finally settled on guitar in his teen years. Early to mid 20th century became his passion and the language that he studied.
